Rocliffe is a female-led company, focussed on diversity forward, female-forward projects ranging in genre.

Whilst Rocliffe has been in existence for many years, it has recently begun developing its slate of projects across a variety of genres including drama, comedy and horror.

Rocliffe is spearheaded by BAFTA nominated producer Farah Abushwesha. Her production credits include:

  • THE ABC MURDERS for BBC / Amazon with John Malkovich, Rupert Grint, Tara Fitzgerald.
  • HANDY directed by Susan Jacobson with Owen Roe, Louisa Harland and Kate Kennedy. RTE & Screen Ireland
  • IRREPLACEABLE YOU directed by Stephanie Laing with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michiel Huisman, Christopher Walken and Steve Coogan. Sales Company - The Exchange
  • THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH directed by Danny Huston. Sales Company - The Works
  • CAKE directed by Alan Friel with Maxine Peake and Letitia Wright.
  • THE PARTY the BAFTA nominated short funded by Irish Film Board.
  • ASKING FOR IT short form comedy sketch being used as a collaboration between PYPO and It's On Us, the WHITE HOUSE's initiative to end campus sexual assault, as part of the It's On Us National Week of Action. Featured in Cosmopolitan, Forbes, New Yorker, Huffington Post.
  • Rocliffe produced a female-led comedy content for Emmy winning Exec Producer Stephanie Laing's online platform PYPO.
  • Pinewood Studio's PRESSURE with Danny Huston and Matthew Goode
  • Newscope's teen thriller DON'T HANG UP.
  • The acclaimed directorial debut of BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Rowan Athale's THE RISE
  • BAFTA nominee Tom Harper's THE SCOUTING BOOK FOR BOYS.
  • Farah is a Screen Star of Tomorrow 2017 and has been listed as one of 11 Inspirational Arab Women In Film by Stepfeed.

    Unsolicited Submissions: Please note that we cannot accept any unsolicited script submissions. We commission writers via agents, recommendations or via BAFTA Rocliffe Competitions that make it onto the Forum List (but we only contact writers after the list is announced). Please consider submitting your work to the BAFTA Rocliffe script calls where you will receive feedback and have the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
